In order to understand my approach to graphic design you'll need to take a big kettle and dump in a little of Charlotte, a whole lot of Vermont, some letterforms, some ink, two ridiculous cats, some paint, some beer, a few scraps of wood and metal, motion, as many ball point pens as you can find, a big juicy steak, aiga charlotte, my ipod, a jackalope, and garnish with a sprinkle of interactivity.

Featured Project::AIGA Charlotte Boom Award Video Presentation
AIGA Charlotte Approached me to help them put together a video presentation for their 2009 Boom Gala Awards Ceremony. Keeping the design and transitions simple was top priority so as not to distract from the winning work itself. Using kinetic typography animated to quotes from famous designers, the monotony was broken of winner after winner after winner.
Featured Project::New Way Media ID Package
New Way Media was in desperate need of a brand redefinition that better reflected their new creative approach to marketing and communication. The two talk bubbles reference the dialog between your business and the consumer. The negative space between the bubbles creates an N because New Way Media is bridging the gap, and making that dialog possible.

Trying to get away from a brand filled with clutter and confusion was a major initiative for the US National Whitewater Center. Breaking their branding into two categories allowed them to keep a strict solid brand all week long, but still have a little fun on the weekends.
